Ben Giampaglia, PT, OCS, MTC

Ben Giampaglia earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University, complementing on his earlier Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Hunter College, NYC. At Hunter, he played on the men’s baseball team and received the prestigious Physical Education Award for his academic and athletic achievements.

A dedicated lifelong learner, Ben continuously expands his knowledge through advanced training in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation. He holds the highly regarded board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) in addition to a Manual Therapy Certification (MTC) from the Institute of Physical Therapy at the University of St. Augustine.

With over 30 years experience, Ben specializes in the rehabilitation of the overhead athlete and a wide range of knee and lower extremity injuries. His approach integrates manual therapy and soft tissue techniques with individualized therapeutic exercise programs. Ben’s personalized care is designed to promote optimal recovery, enhance performance, and to support long term health and wellness for each patient.


Janice Nesbeth, DPT

Dr. Janice Nesbeth earned her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from New York Medical College and later completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of St. Augustine, specializing in manual therapy techniques. With over 20 years of experience across various clinical settings including acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient orthopedics she brings a wealth of knowledge to her practice.

Since joining Orthocare Physical Therapy in 2004, Dr. Nesbeth has remained committed to professional growth, engaging in advanced orthopedic rehabilitation coursework with a focus on treating upper and lower extremity injuries. She is dedicated to helping patients of all ages achieve their recovery goals.

Beyond the clinic, Janice is an avid outdoor enthusiast. She enjoys skiing, biking, hiking, and swimming in her free time.


Eugene Pavone, DPT

Dr. Gene Pavone earned his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy (cum laude) and an Advanced Master’s Degree in Pathokinesiology from New York University. He furthered his education by completing his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Northeastern University, where he was honored with the inaugural Dean’s Medal for outstanding doctoral work.

Gene’s contributions to the field extend beyond his clinical practice, with two published articles in professional journals and numerous book reviews and article abstracts for Physical Therapy. He began his career at the esteemed Helen Hayes Hospital, where he rose to senior physical therapist in the orthopedic unit. Transitioning to outpatient private practice, he has since broadened his expertise, serving patients in Rockland and Westchester Counties.

At OrthoCare Physical Therapy, Gene integrates his extensive knowledge with a passion for evidence-based care. He remains committed to lifelong learning through advanced continuing education, with the goal of helping patients achieve their highest level of function and return to the activities they love.


Johanna Kristen Panlilio, PT, PTRP

Johanna earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines, completing an intensive five-year program that set the foundation for her expertise. Licensed to practice in both the Philippines and New York State, she has gained significant clinical experience, particularly in an orthopedic clinic where she specializes in managing musculoskeletal conditions.

Dedicated to lifelong learning, Ms. Panlilio has pursued advanced training in both the Philippines and the U.S., with a focus on orthopedic and manual therapy. She is currently working toward her board certification in orthopedic physical therapy, driven by a passion to deepen her expertise and deliver exceptional patient care.

Johanna integrates the latest therapeutic techniques to optimize patient recovery and enhance functional outcomes. Her broad clinical experience, coupled with her commitment to continuous education, enables her to provide tailored, high-quality care that supports each patient's unique rehabilitation goals.
