Ben Giampaglia, PT, OCS, MTC

Ben earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University. Prior to his physical therapy degree, Ben attended Hunter College in NYC where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education. While at Hunter he played men's baseball and received Hunter's Physical Education Award for his academic and athletic achievements.

A self described continuing education fanatic, Ben continues to further his studies with significant coursework in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation. He is an APTA board certified orthopedic clinical specialist (OCS) and received a manual therapy certification (MTC) from the Institute of Physical Therapy at the University of St. Augustine.

Ben has a special interest in the overhead athlete and sports rehabilitation where he integrates manual therapy and soft tissue techniques with therapeutic exercise progressions in order to attain optimal results for his patients.

Janice Nesbeth, DPT

Janice earned a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from New York Medical College and thereafter completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St Augustine that emphasized extensive course work in manual therapy.

Janice has worked in various physical therapy settings including acute care, inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient orthopedics. Janice has been working at Orthocare Physical Therapy since 2004 and continues to further her skills and education with course work in orthopedic rehabilitation for all ages with a special interest in foot/ankle injuries and rehabilitation.

Janice is an avid skier and also enjoys biking, hiking, and swimming.

Eugene Pavone, DPT

Gene Pavone holds both a Bachelor of Science cum laude in Physical Therapy and an Advanced Master's Degree in Pathokinesiology from NYU. He earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University where he was awarded the inaugural Dean's Medal for outstanding doctoral work. He has published two articles in professional journals and has authored numerous book reviews and article abstracts for Physical Therapy.

He began his career at Helen Hayes Hospital, a long-term rehabilitation setting where he rose to senior physical therapist on the orthopedics unit before moving on to outpatient private practice settings in Rockland and Westchester Counties.

Dr. Pavone brings a wealth of experience to OrthoCare Physical Therapy along with his commitment to guide patients toward their optimal function. He continues to pursue continuing education opportunities emphasizing evidence-based interventions. Gene's ultimate goal is to help patients achieve their highest level of function and restore their ability to participate in activities they find most meaningful.
